So what are you going to do with that I hear you ask?

Well let me tell you...

We're the stage crew and with just a few screws and some other odds and bods we can:

  •   Fly you to other planets or on a magic carpet

  •   Whisk you to exotic locations

  •   Take you down a rabbit hole or through a wardrobe

We're the engineers who bring your shows to life.

So how does it work?

It all starts with a meeting with the producer.

They explain what they would like from the show. We then calm them down and explain that this isn't the London Palladium or Hollywood and we then generally arrive at a suitable compromise. Being honest there isn't a lot we say no to!

We have built:

  •   Rockets that fly

  •   Doors that can shrink and grow

  •   Revolving walls

  •   Flying carpets

  •   and space shuttles

We all have our different take on any given ideas of course and after a bit of discussion we arrive on a plan of action.

This is my first experience of Directing and it's made me appreciate what other people go through when directing a show.  There's been many challenges but the support we've received from Ben, Lisa, Christine, Peter, Helena and the rest of the Bethel Crowd have really helped in making things easier for us.

The cast are making great strides in their acting and performances for each of the shows.  They're improving their timings and stage positions as well.  We're now wanting to speed things up so that each show flows better.

Christine and Barbara have worked wonders in the Costume department.  The outfits look fantastic and bring a wonderful display of colour and detail to each of the costumes.  We're having our first Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday 23rd of May so I'm really looking forward to it.

Peter, Austin, Bob and the rest of the stage crew have made some wonderful sets for us, really bringing the stories to life.  We can't wait to get on stage and work with the sets and...

Myself and Scott are having an amazing time with our brilliant cast rehearsing Happily Ever After.

We're looking forward to telling 6 fantastic tales from some of our favourite fairy tales:

  • The Three Billy-goats Gruff

  • The Princess and the Pea

  • The Gingerbread Man

  • Rapunzel

  • Jack and the Beanstalk

  • Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Our cast are always enthusiastic when they come to rehearsal, always happy to get involved with all dances and even coming up with some of their own ideas for scenes!

We're looking forward to seeing you this June and remember; they all lived happily ever after!
