International Choreographers Day!

International Choreographers Day is TODAY! (9th January!) For us it’s the perfect time to celebrate the creativity and dedication behind the movement we see on stage. It also comes as we enter the final leg of rehearsals for our next show.

A choreographer is responsible for creating the dances that bring energy, storytelling and character to a performance. Through movement, they help performers connect with the audience and truly bring a show to life.

We were especially lucky to have marked the day with a full dance rehearsal, learning and polishing all the routines for our upcoming pantomime, Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We’ve had an absolute blast this evening, experimenting with different music speeds to really test how well we know the dances!

Don’t miss your chance to see our wonderful cast—young and old—take to the stage in a wide range of lively and entertaining dance numbers.

Even more exciting, all of this year’s choreography has been created by our director, Helena Carter, who has been nominated for the District 5 NODA Award for Best Choreographer in a Pantomime for last year’s Bethel Panto, Peter Panto.

Get your tickets now and come and see the magic of choreography in action!
